Due to staffing issues, effective Monday, September 22, 2025 the following changes to Extended Day

are in place until further notice:

(1) Extended Day in the mornings is no longer available;

(2) Extended Day for 2-Hour Delays is no longer available;

(3) Extended Day for School Cancellations is no longer available.


Extended Day in the afternoons, from the end of the school-day until 5:55, is still available as usual.

We are prioritizing the afternoons because that is where a majority of the demand and utility are.


It is our desire to provide a service to the working parents of children who attend our school. We will provide:


  • an extension of the regular school day that is structured and organized, but
  • FREE time as well as an opportunity to begin their homework.
  • a secure, cheerful environment for the children by offering supervision, snack and times for play and work.


Our objectives include the elements of enhancing a positive self-esteem, developing social skills, and teaching lifelong values such as responsibility, organization, and cooperation. A ratio of one supervisor per 14 children will be adhered to.

Extended Day Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is going paperless!
