2026-2027 Transportation Updates:

Bus Requests

***County school districts (any district other than FCS) do not require request forms. We have sent family information to each district. Their transportation offices will be in touch with families on route times/locations later in the summer. If you have questions, please reach out to your county school transportation office.***

Message from FCS Transportation:

We are excited to open the 26-27 Transportation Registration for Findlay City Schools a bit earlier than usual this year as we look forward to increased transportation next school year.

Transportation will be provided for K-5th grade students living outside a one-mile radius of their school, and for 6-12th grade students living outside a two-mile radius of their school. Families who meet this criteria must complete this form to register for FCS-provided transportation. Families who are unsure whether they meet the distance criteria can check here!

FCS Transportation will only be accomodating each student with 1 bus stop in the morning and 1 bus stop in the afternoon. For example we will pick up at Mom's in the morning and drop off at Dad's in afternoon, the AM stop must remain the same and the PM stop must remain the same, but can be different from each other.

You will be notified by July 1st if your transportation registration has been approved. You will be notified in early August of bus stop location and times.

Special Request Transportation

Families requesting bus services to/from a babysitter, childcare provider, or alternate address must complete a Transportation Special Request form in order to be considered, in addition to completing the Transportation Registration form. Special requests will be processed in the order they are received, and may not be approved or denied before the start of the school year. Approval or denial will be shared via the primary contact's email address listed below.

Transportation Communication

Our bus GPS has been revamped and our maps have been updated, which will allow us a more successful communication pathway through the StopFinder app this year.

If you have not been invited to the StopFinder app, you will be sent an invitation via email to join in the beginning of August. Only one member of the family will be invited, and that person can share invitations to other family members or neighbors who need the bus information of your child. In order for this platform to work, updated email and phone numbers of the primary contact must be correct within the Transportation Registration form.
